1. OVERVIEW

───────────────────────────── Figaro ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to capture visible HTML elements from any webpage and copy them to the clipboard for use in Figma. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected.

───────────────────────────── 2. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT ───────────────────────────── Figaro does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Browsing history or URLs you visit
• Personal information (name, email, location, etc.)
• Web page content beyond the single element you actively choose to capture
• Clipboard contents
• Cookies or authentication data
• Usage statistics or analytics

───────────────────────────── 3. DATA ACCESSED LOCALLY ───────────────────────────── To perform its core function, the Extension temporarily accesses the following — entirely on your device:

• The HTML structure and computed styles of the element you click on the active tab
• The active tab's URL and load state (used only to reset extension state on navigation)

This data is processed locally in your browser and written only to your local clipboard. It is never sent to any server, third party, or remote endpoint.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED ───────────────────────────── activeTab — to access the page you are currently viewing when you activate the Extension. scripting — to inject a capture script into the active tab on demand. tabs — to detect tab navigation and reset the Extension state accordingly. clipboardWrite — to write captured element data to your clipboard. offscreen — to perform clipboard operations from the background service worker. <all_urls> (host permission) — to allow the Extension to work on any website the user chooses. No data from any website is collected or transmitted.

───────────────────────────── 5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES ───────────────────────────── Figaro does not integrate with, send data to, or load content from any third-party services. The Extension operates entirely offline and locally within your browser.

───────────────────────────── 6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY ───────────────────────────── Figaro is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

───────────────────────────── 7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY ───────────────────────────── If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be published with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
